Cats snore too

More gratuitous pussycat. Here’s Leo snoring:

Betty White’s film career is twice as long as my age. Newsweek has a nice compilation of portraits spanning her 60 years in film and TV.

This is the Central Branch of the Seattle Public Library. Now besides the fact that it is a library there is another reason why this place got my geek antennae all a twitter. It was designed by Pritzer-Prize winning architect Rem Koolhas…and it’s a really cool looking building. Sadly, didn’t have time to go inside so this place is on the list for next time. I love it when art, architecture and vast depositories of knowledge mingle.

I am sure none of you will be surprised that I really wanted to try this coffee blend out which was on offer at Seattle Coffee Works adjacent to our hostel.

A few Seattle pics

A few pics from Seattle. These should make it clear that I am no natural photographer. :)

Pike Place Market

Cheryl and I had dinner here. The Pike Public House Brewery. Incredible Belgian Beer and a burger that tasted like a large White Castle. Needless to say I was very pleased…and full.

And for dessert? Well, gelato of course. And the place was across the street from our hostel which is interestingly named, The Green Tortoise.
