For this week’s ‘F’ archive, here is a view of the ‘fog’ taken by Linda at Seal Cove in Canada. As a kid, the fog was frightening and while it has lost its power to frighten me it still brings mystery and enchantment to usually familiar places. Here is an entry from the archives of our photography contributor for Nascence, Linda Kuster. Also, please check out Frizz who founded this photo challenge.

I think the photographer showed an instinctive sense of how to make a photograph by choosing the remains of one of the houses as the main foreground interest.
There is lots of foreground interest in the repeated vertical posts and they are all sharp, and then the gentle gradation to the back.
And it is not immediately obvious what the posts are and it takes a moment to work it out – for me, the unusualness of the posts adds a slight mystery to the photo that marries well with the mist.
I clicked the link to see more of Linda Kuster’s work, but she appears no longer to be on Flickr.
Where can I see more of her work?
Kudos to you for publishing it.
Fog really adds a mystique to a capture.
